Howdy all! New to the forums here. I usually do a lot of browsing rather than posting but it's time for me to post. I've had my current desktop a bit too long and I'm looking to build a new one. I'm planning on reusing my DVD/CD-RW drive so I've left that out of the build. I'm trying to keep it under $600.

Total: $625 - $35 mail in rebates = $590.
Also, I've got a Audigy 2 sound card in my current PC. Would that be better than the on-board sound on the Mobo?
And I've got to get a operating system. So that'll be another ~$100 or so. I've got XP on my current desktop and Windows 7 Pro on my laptop. Would it be smart to just get Windows 7? Thanks all!
And if there is a way to lessen the cost to near $500 without too much power loss, I would love to hear your suggestions.
