I just had this weird problem. My computer turned on fine and everything funtion normally. After 10 to 20 seconds, the monitor going to standby mode. I tried to turn off and on the monitor but it doesn't work. It happened all the sudden and I don't know what is wrong with it. Can anybody help me?

can you do something for me, boot into Safe mode and see if it happends then report back. ok

Yeah Technoman might have a point.
It could be the video drivers, being that they haven't installed correctly or something has happened with them or the resolution is too high for your monitor or something which can sometimes be set to change when you restart.
Safe mode will fix this like Technoman says, as you'll be able to reset settings or do a re-install of drivers

and ... if the computer monitor turns off randomly that means it will not have anything to do with power management
