older drivers but new card, will it work?

i want to use the 30.30 nvidia drivers for my ti4200 msi agp 8 graphics card but it will not find it. is there a way to modify the driver so it has it? if not i want to use th 29.80 but same problem..altho the 29.80 are from gainword will they work on an msi? i want to use these because they give better performance from what i can see.

How about updating the drivers through Device Manager? Just point the wizard to the folder containing the 30.30 drivers.

go to nvidias site, they should hav an old enof set to support the 4x series, i dont think they would bother to take support for older cards in there new driver releases
