So i have read that these are actually both the same, just different numbers. Ive also read that i got ripped and that this card kinda sucks... not for gaming atall. so now that I have the laptop and it has this card on it.. any ideas what i can do about the problem now?

Thanks, :)

i think it would required disassembling half of the laptop
just to get to the card
then you have the ever so difficult task of finding a new card
to purchase that is
thats a very small area on the internet pie chart
if you want to do it yourself
you will need alot of different tools
a great memory
and alot of patience
and the parts

but that just brings up questions
if you change GPUs on a laptop
is it automaticly installed so that the monitor works?
or do you have to install the software
then the GPU
the restart and hope that everything works?
a bit of a paradox IMHO

yea.. any chance that computer shops might do this for me?:p

Assuming it's not integrated into the laptop yes, but it'll be expensive. Contact the maker of your laptop and see if it's integrated into the motherboard or not. If it is, you S.O.L. without replacing the motherboard as well.
