Nvidia Geforce 6800 GS Drivers

Hi,

I have a Nvidia Geforce 6800 GS 512MB graphics card.

The drivers that come with it don't seem to be installing correctly.

It's as if when it starts to install it's already half way complete :eek!:

Can someone link me to exact drivers? I've also tried the drivers from the nvidia site... Doesn't work

It installs and everything, but then on games it just looks really bad.

Are you sure you dont just need to adjust your graphics settings? Is everything ok in device manager?

I've tried countless ways now...

Before I install the drivers the new hardware wizard comes up... i've done all that... then comes to the drivers installed on the cd... thats when it seems that it starts to install from 50% onwards.

lol, have you configured the options in the Nvidia control panel?
You need to custom configure the card ( on my card you had to go in and change it to accept anti-aliasing feature) just slide it to custom setting and do the advanced options. ( will you post a screen capture of the game you are trying to play so I can help thx)
