New vid card problem. HELP!

I got my shiny new asus X800 XL through the post this morning and all was well when I plugged it in etc and loaded the drivers through windows. I then rebooted the computer and wanted to install te utilties. I went into my computer and clicked on the D:/ drive. It then hung around and then I couldnt move my mouse. Then POW. Blue screen of death and a system restart.

I found this very strange. I rebooted the computer and tried again. Same nothing happened. I though the card didnt like the CD drive. But no it accepted others just fine.

Whats going on here. If anybody could find the latest drivers I would apprectiate this because I cant. The asus website wont work

Go into the bios and check for IRQ settings. The card and the optics drive may be on the same IRQ. If so then you may need to assign the optics drive to a higher setting.
I believe the IRQ settings for the vid card should be below 5 and the optics drive should be above 11.
