Ok, first post, hello everyone. Im pulling the triiger on this system in the next week or two. Its gonna be 99% gaming rig usage. I dont wanna spend more than $1700 before shipping.. Heres what i have picked out so far. Tweak my setup so i can get the best price/performance if you would. I want to sitck with nvidia gtx580 and the K series processors.Thanks!!

^TRIM doesn't support RAID. Getting rid of TRIM would render any performance boost seen with RAID as unnoticable.

I assume you're going to transfer the 1TB and 500GB drives from the other one? or atleast one of them. A single SSD isn't going to hold many games.
 
Yes I am transferring both HDDs from my old rig. The 1 TB is brand new and empty and the 500 is about full. I was just using the SSD for the operating system.
