new laptop recommendation

hi guys

my friend wants a new laptop, her old one is slow and when she does more than 1 thing at a time it hangs up or crashes.

she wants it for skype, music , watching dvd's, iinternet etc, she asked for one with an integrated webcam

she has a budget of £450 to £500 (we are in the u.k.) but would rather spend less lol

she doesn't need a huge screen, something like 15 inch would be big enough i reckon

i would like to recommend her something with good build quality, i recommended another of my friends buy an acer laptop a couple years ago and he had terrible trouble with it

i have lost touch with computers over the last few years so what would you guys recommend for her?

The FAQ would help. I think something like the Dell D630 would be a more durable choice. Upgrade the memory yourself. That's usually the cheapest route.
