New Laptop Motherboard

Hey, I need a new motherboard for an ACER ASPIRE 5720. The board part number is "MBAHE020018330DB621601", i have found one on ebay that's part number "MBAHE02001723062601601". As you can see the numbers are very close. I emailed them and they said that they think that as long as the first 8 digits match then your fine and the other numbers are unique to each board.

The board is identical from the image however obviously I dont want to buy the wrong board. Any ideas or advice ?

I would think the part number would be the same regardless. Unless, that is a serial number? A google search of the first eight characters didn't bring up any manufacturer..
