New laptop!

OK, I decided to go with the Sempron I'm now stuck with an Averatec 3200 series with a Sempron 2800 which seems to do quite well. I checked the Pi performace and it clocked in at right at one minute. I'm quite happy so far. Quality seems pretty good too, minus the rather cheap feeling lid latch.

Thanks...I'm going off to college and first got a new desktop, then saw this laptop and deiced to get one and use over my PDA. Both it and my old laptop are for sell, but I think I have people interested in both already...

The keyboard will take some getting use to... The arrow keys are tiny and the \ is right beside them, causing me to get mixed up. The latch is very cheap, but it holds the lid down just fine. The battery is a little loose, but I don't beleive it's anything to worry about. All in all, it's a wonderful machine. I hope to use it for note taking, and possibly to just be lazy outside ;P While showing it off, I was able to get on someone's wifi and surf the net a bit
