Hi, I have a question with my older E-machines desktop computer.

Its 2.6ghz celeron
256mb ram
Intel Extreme Graphics 2

I was wondering if i can put a new AGP graphics card in, and disable the Intel graphics in BIOS. My question is though, does my computer have an slot for the AGP graphics card, so I took photo's and can someone please tell me if my computer is compatible with a new card. I know what im saying may sound wrong or stupid, well thats because im a noob in need of help. Thanks again.

Nope, I'm afraid you just have PCI :(

Thing is though, you can buy a rather good PCI card that will beat the one you have in your computer you have now, and will still run new games, though at low settings.
The really good ones though seem to be rather expensive, though you could get one for £40, which would beat the one you have now I'd guess.

I hope this helps

well anything beats onboard graphics. Just get a decend pci card, or then buy a new mobo with an pci-e and/or agp slot.

What game did you have in mind, because you don't really have enough RAM for most of the newer titles, and that Celeron will be hard pressed to run.
