so in the past few weeks when i used my DVD DL drive it makes a grinding sound when it spins down when i open it or w.e
i seen this on newegg..

its suppost to burn DVD/DL, CD/RW, and play them, along with Blu Ray Discs, but not burn Blue Ray.
and i see u need a certain type of video card to watch Blu Ray movies, and i am pretty sure that my 4850 supports this (the watching of Blu Ray Content)
and also you need certain types of monitors to watch blue ray content, and i was wandering if my Vizio Flat screen would support it?
and, if this looked like a good priced drive, this will replace my 2 disc drives (a DL dvd burner and a CD burner) so i'll only have 1 drive. and of course it will be sata instead of pata.
