New comp New problem

Well just got my new dell and it has a 256mb ati x1300 pro vid card with s-video out but i cant get it to work with my HDTV can someone walk me throw it...

im used to nvidia cards...this is the first time i use an ati card.

I tried going into properties/settings and trying to get it to work but nothing will happen...why cant ati make friendly programs like nvidia pls help

Are your drivers installed? If so check if your card came with an HD hookup. The cords are red blue and green. That might work
