hi all

new here and after some advice please

i want to build a gaming pc but im not interested in massive power
i dont play things like crysis and skyrim

i want one that will handdle things like starcraft 2 and supreme commander

im into RTS and want a pc that will run games like these on max settings

starting from scratch so please help

OK so you already got a CPU, and case which should work, but how many watts is the power supply?

if all that works well you could easily pickup a graphics card, motherboard, ram, dvd-rom, and HDD for somewhere around $400 just depends what MOBO and GPU you pick out mainly. Ram is roughly $40 for 8gb and an HDD is $85 for 500gb 7200rpm. DVD-rom's can be found for as low as $20 and then a MOBO, depending on the brand and features range from $100-200. I bought a really nice Intel with built in wifi and blu tooth for $160. A GPU can be $100-$250 depending on how high of graphics you need. I got my EVGA 550 TI for $150 and it maxes out Mafia 2 no problem, so I'm sure that should max the games you would like to play.

Just make sure any motherboard you find is compatible with your cpu and whatnot.

Is your CPU an Athlon II X2 or an Athlon 64 X2?
