So it looks like I need to upgrade my CPU and mobo, but I'm not sure what will be compatible with some of the components, mainly ram, with what i have now.
I had an Intel P820 dual core Pentium and a D945PSN mobo with 3 GB of dual channel ddr2 667 ram (2 x 1GB and 2 x 512MB).
I have been looking at this E6300 Intel Pentium processor, but I'm not sure what motherboard to go with.
I would like to be able to use the ram I currently have, if possible, and would like to be able to overclock the cpu slightly to get a slight boost in performance with a minimal increase in heat. Also I would like the mobo to be ATX sized since I have an ATX case.
Any input is appreciated.
