Default Need monitor help!!!

I have a Viewsonic A75f. The problem is that small icons and pictures appear very grainy, while you can see a hint of grain in larger items. My resolution is 1024x768 with a refresh of 75HZ. I have tried different video cards with no help, have tried switching the resolution and refresh settings with no help. When I first got this monitor about two weeks ago the display was great, full color, no grainy display. Then soon as a formatted my hardrive that is when the grainy display started. Larger objects appear to be OK, it is just the smaller pictures and icons that appear grainy. Yes I have installed the monitor driver. Thank you in advance for your help!!!!

Have you installed the latest drives? Try the settings like 65million colors etc.
