Need Help Finding Software

Hello, I am about to re-decorate my house, new paint, new furniture all of that good stuff. I was wondering if there was a software that allowed you to create a room or a hallway or which ever space necessary and be able to customize it by adding in furniture as well as paint and accessories. I am pretty sure I have seen this on various design shows and was wondering if such software was available. If so please let me know. Thank you.

Lol yea I have played the sims but the thing about the sims is that the decoration is limited, as well as the fact that I have a very unique living / dining room area that has very high ceilings. This is difficult if not impossible to recreate in a game. However thank you.
