Ok, so I've decided to upgrade my computer, but i'm really low on cash, so I decided to check out the refurbished comps on websites such as newegg and tigerdirect. I'm just looking to see what opinions you guys have, and what advice you could give me.NOTE: I plan to pop in a 8600gt card in whichever comp i buy, and a mere 2gb of ram.

(X2 4400 1 gig)--only upgradeable to 2 gig's of ram :(

(X2 4000 2 gig)--reviews aren't the best

x5000 is the best one you listed. If you are planning on getting the 8600 card, make sure you get a computer that has a power supply that is sufficient for the card, and maybe upgrade the ram. I would checkout some computer building companies like DigitalStorm and etc, you can find some good deals, and do some upgrades if you like. DigitalStorm is pretty good. Anyhow, if you have anymore questions feel free to ask.

(Requirements For the 8600GT 256MB)
Minimum of a 350 Watt power supply.
(Minimum recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 22 Amp Amps.)
Minimum 400 Watt for SLI mode system.
(Minimum recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 24 Amp Amps.)

Got this from Nvidia

the second one is the best thats what id go with if it were between those also check out the former post

I'd say the first one, it has a C2D which could easily reach 3.0GHz, and if you are going to add an 8600GT and 2gigs. It would be a decent system.

But the mobo is probally limited on overclocking, if any overclocking exists on that mobo.
