need to activate windows. screw being legit

ok, i had 10 days left for activatino yesterday not i cant log onto my computer and i just was on it 10mins ago...and i restarted, yet ives restarted about 3 times today...this is crap. my mom threw away my product key and i friend has my CD and hes in college so i need to get past this activation thing and i know it can be done.....can some please guide me through it via PM or something?
