Myy new Motherboard

hey guys, i am getting a new Mother board on friday. now i already have a computer built, and a hard drive with a ton of info on it i dont want to lose. so i was wondering when i get my new MoBo do i have to re-format my hard drive and if i do could some one give me a link to a good guide (i havent had to format a hard drive yet). thanks so much.

Your hard drive my be able to be used without having to reformat it or you might get screwed and have to do it. Check out this forum:

Or you can just pop the drive into a friend's computer as a slave and transfer the files to the master (assuming there's enough space). Or burn the files to DVD. Whichever backup method you prefer.
