I've been using a laptop with a 1.2GHz VIA C3 Nehemiah CPU since last December, but recently, i discovered a 'VIA C3 Power-Saver Driver' on the VIA website. I've installed it, under the impression that I needed it for the power-saving feature to work, but I discovered that it's actually quite a complicated utility, which takes up about 5% CPU usage.
Does anyone know if I need to have the utility running for the power-saving technology to be active, or can I just rid of it?
