My power supply

Is that enough to power my system I have it right now and seems to be fine but I want to upgrade to 2 gigs of high quality ram and another 7800gtx.


I have a AMD 4400+ x2 ocd to 4600+
ASUS A8N-SLI DELUX
BFG 7800GTX oc
Maxtor 250gig hd
cd rom drive and a dvd burner
Audgity 2 zs sound card.

If you want a good PSU for the money, go with the Fortron Source (FSP Group) AX500 500w PSU. It's $91.00 on newegg.com and it's easily the best budget PSU ever, hands down.

OCZ Technology makes really good PSUs, but they cost a bit more. Either way, the Powerstream and Modstream are great.

PC Power & Cooling absolutely makes the best PSUs in the market, hands down. Unmatched stability, quality and efficiency. They're expensive, but if you have the money, their PSU's are definately a must buy.

Yes, the 550watt is adequate for running SLi dual 7800GTX and more RAM.
