My Music Default Location.

Hey there,

does anyone know how to change which folder the My Music shortcut on the start menu points to? I've forgotten how. I have a dedicated drive for tunes so i want it to point to that.

Its not exactly what you want to do but What I would do is create a shortcut to the drive Ex: right click desktop then highlight new then click shortcut then make the path what ever drive you have didicated... then just pin that shortcut to the start menu.

Yeah I have to agree with BloodStalker a link is so much easier. I don't think there is a way to change the My Music setting in Windows, because its linked to user profiles and stuff isn't it.

Here's the answer to your question............
Change the "My Documents" target (right click "My Documents" and select properties).............all files underneath this will now be where you want them.
My Music
My Pictures
My Videos
etc
