My build..

Newegg doesn't have any Sata's that are 10,000rpm with 16mb cache, not evean 10,000 with 8mb cache, sure a 7200 is ok? :(

Anddd another thing. The mobo supports DDR PC3200 ram, is that good? Are most mobo's the same, the dropdown menu at newegg goes up to like, pc8000 or something I've never even heard of!

Most of us here are using 7200's and they're pretty good. Just get a SATA drive instead of IDE. Yes, PC3200 is top notch. Anything lower would just create bottlenecks. PC8000 is probably some DDR2 or something like that. Intel will probably use that config. Yeah, stick to the high performance PC3200 and you're set with RAM.

WOW, I love those hard drives!!!! I Must get one!!! Get the Western Digital hard drive. To me, they're all good. I've used both Maxtor and WD before. I guess the WD because it's cheaper. BUt wow, nice price for the size and buffer.

Yes, 300MB=3GB

Well, looking at the specs closely, the Maxtor might have just a tiny, teeny, weeny bit faster than the Western Digital drive.
