yeh that should work, plus u could get the internet on the old computer aswell

sure you can do that with both of the PCs. But do note that if you want to use
internet on the computer connected to the secondary ethernet port, your first computer will have to be on since it is giving internet to it
You will have to configure your first computer with ICS.
