Monitor Problem

For some damn reason my computer monitor is on and so is my computer but for fuck sakes it wont show the screen. I know that its plugged in good. WTF is wrong with it.

um well idk but this happened to mine and just turn idt off for like 24 hours and if that doesnt work but another one....or maybe it has overheated...well if u let it sit it might un heat

is the little LED on your monitor blinking or anything? when you turn your pc on do you hear the hd's spinning up and working at all? we need more info.
