minidump help

ive been trying to play this game (alexander heroes hour). ive installed it but I keep getting the message "the procedure entry point MiniDumpWriteDump could not be located in the dynamic link library dbghelp.dll"
can somone tell me how to fix this so I can play my game!

my computer is windows 2000 if it matters

Windws 200 isn't designed for games.

Your game may not depend on DirectX as much as the other OSes. It's time for upgrade (or downgrade)
