Macs and Music

yeah, so im running a mac, but im really really into getting music and having it on my harddrive (without buying albums, obviously) so i was wondering if anyone out there knew of a really great hopefully FREE mac compatable mp3 site?

I don't think MP3's are platform specific. you might be using a proprietary Mac format.
