I have a linksys Compact Wireless-G Broadband router.. And I am installing the software to secure access to it.. It is asking me which encryption method i should use.. I have between five (5) options..

WEP (64-Bit), WEP (128-Bit), WPA Personal, WPA2 Personal, WPA2 Mixed Mode

I haven't the slightest clue as to what these are or which would be best..

It also says, "The security settings must be the same on all devices on your network, or they will not be able to communicate."

What does this mean also..

If you can help me figure out what I should do, please offer your support..

Thanks in advance..

If you can then go for WPA2. The other thing about settings been the same on all devices, is just meaning that if you set WPA2 on the router, then the wireless cards need to support WPA2 aswell, otherwise it wont work
