LCD computer monitor + TV tuner or LCD TV + HDMI output?

Which is better?

I would rather get the TV becuase then I would have to purchase the TV tuner. My only concern is that gaming would look less appealing on the LCD TV

The LCD TV with HDMI would be a good choice. That way you can not only game, but you watch vids off your computer. Gaming should look just fine as long as your graphics card can support the TV's resolution.
