Working on an Aspire One D257-1497. I have the motherboard out and I'm testing the pins for voltage. The cord tested good, but when I put the multimeter on the pins from the jack I get voltage jumping from 1-3.2 volts (should be 19v). All the grounds tested good.
Also I touched a chip near the DC jack and it was red hot! Guessing this board is toast but I still wanted a second opinion. Thanks
