keyboard double-typing

This seems like the wrong place for this but nothing else fit better. And I apologize for typos and such. I am using an onscreen keyboard.

suddenly last night, my keyboard started double typing, no matter what keys I hit. it looks like this:

hhuummppttyy dduummppttyy

Not fun.

I am using a logitech EX 110 wireless keyboard and windows vista.

So far I tried all of these multiple times:
system reboot
verifying cords plugged in
resynching with wireless receiver
reinstalling software
cleaning keyboard
changing keyboard sensitivity in control panel
run virus scan
posting on the official logitech boards
(i'm forgetting one)

Anyone have suggestions either on fixing problem or where else to look for help?

Try a wired keyboard.

If this works it has to be wireless keyboard that's the problem.

Otherwise look at the Typematic delay setting (in some BIOS's) or look at the character repeat setting in the Keyboard Properties dialog box, on the Speed tab, under Character repeat.

sounds like lag between your wireless receiver and keyboard.

mine does that time to time to.
