I've heard alot about itunes not working with vista very well. However, I thought that would be sorted by now. I've just installed itunes and it seems a tad bit slow, at as smooth as on xp.

Anybody else finding this? Is it still not very stable in Vista?

Cheers.

I run it on Vista 64 bit. I get an error message everytime I open it saying "iTunes did not install properly and you may not be able to burn CDs/DVDs" 64 bit OSs are not supported by iTunes though so I'm not complaining as it still works fine and very smooth. The reason you find it slower in Vista is because generally Vista requires more performance than XP so it will slow some apps down a bit. But with your system, I assume it still runs fine though?

The new version, (7.6) is said to have more compatibility issues resolved with Vista. I upgraded, but haven't noticed a difference yet.

Been running it almost everyday for the last 9 months with Vista Home Premium.............works fine for me. Four different iPods.
What problems are there, I sure don't see any issues.

I started using iTunes when I got my first iPod (November 2006). I had Windows XP back then and it worked fine. When I got my laptop with Vista in March (2007), I didn't notice any performance differences.

It seems perfectly stable. I have Home Premium (32-bit).
