I've a Dell D400 and I'm looking to put Linux on it. Not sure which distro yet but something not overly complicated. I know a lot of linux distros come with lots of software already on them, are there any that are watered down and not so fat with other apps?
Anywho where I'm getting at... What about drivers? That's my big concern. I have built in wireless and I want to use that as well as my ethernet port. Here's dells list of drivers for Redhat 3 http://support.dell.com/support/dow...=dhs&SystemID=LAT_PNT_PM_D400&os=LE30&osl=EN#
Doesn't seem too helpful there. Can anyone make some suggestions to me here? Remember, I want a watered down Linux in which I choose what goes on the system, something a lil easier to use, and drivers for it. Any help?
