I'm not getting any internet.

Alright, on my other computer I can't get internet.

Under Network Connections there is absolutely nothing, no local connection even there.

I've tried resetting bios and CMOS and downloading all drivers I can think of. I've even reformatted.

What's wrong?

Is your network card onboard? Is it wireless?

ive tried both onboard and a network card. neither work.

Does the network crd get detected by windows?

nope it never shows up

yeah when the cable is plugged into a different computer, the internet works

If it's a PCI network card, maybe try another PCI slot? Make sure there isn't a problem with the slot your trying...

Whats it say in device manager? Are the drivers installed?

also check in BIOS make sure on board isn't disabled.
