I have an older IBM computer with a Pentium 3 in it that I'd really like to get running again but it just wont work. I removed the original processor to stick it on a better mobo and tried to just use an older PIII 600 100MHz FSB, in it, but it won't work.

The old processor was a PIII 733 @ 133. I was afraid something might of gotten damaged, but I stuck the old processor back in it and it worked perfectly.

There are a few dip switches on it, but I can't find anything about switching the bus speeds on it :-/

You answer the question yourself. You changed a 133 Mhz processor for a 100 Mhz processor it would never work, you have a bottleneck there. It's like putting PC100 in place of PC133.
