i know i must be doing something wrong...

today i just recieved my USB joystick converter (15 pin to USb). so i plug it in and install the program but it says it is not workign properly. i know i'm doing something wrong. i went to device manger and found the joystick but it was under Uknown Device. i just got finished re-installing the joystick and i don't know what to do.

the joystick is old. its a Thrustmaster Top Gun Fox 2 Pro. yes i know, could the name b any longer. any help would be most helpful

Did you put the device in the computer, before you tried to install the program?

Dont see why it would need a program for a little analogue adapter..

yea i did, now im thinking that the OS isn't compatiable with it. Because i was looking around and it said like 98/ME so i don't know but i e-mailed a guy from Belkin (the company who makes it) and he should be responding back.

well if it doesn't work i'm fine with it, the thing was like $3.14. the shipping was more money then the adapter lol
