That's extremely overkill, it will do no problem.

500GB goes in a flash with HDTV though

yea u dont need more than a 5000+ and 2GB RAM to do that
cut down on the CPU (to that ^^) and ram (^^), and spend more on hard drive space. get another 500GB.
