How much of a difference between 9800 GTX and 8800 GTS?

It's a pretty large difference, though it isn't quite enough to upgrade over.
If you don't have the 8800 yet, then definitely buy the 9800gtx. If you already have an 8800, either throw in a second one for SLI (if your mobo supports it) or consider more powerful cards to make the upgrade really worth it.
