How to Clear A HD I'm currently using

I have an old IBM with a useful HD in it and i want to delete everything on it so that i can use it for storage. Is there any way i can delete the files without havening to put it in another computer

You could pop in a windows CD and format it. Just to make sure you know, that by doing a format all data on the drive is erased.

make sure u have your programs, but wipe it out. and anly get programs u need

If you havent got a windows CD then you can do it with a floppy disk if the computer has one. Just use a boot disk. If you havent got one then download from here. http://www.bootdisk.com/bootdisk.htm Get the win98se OEM one. Then just boot from that and type format c:
