How bad is it?

I can play BF2142 with my video card very well but my video card is about two years old tell me what you think? I got a ATI RADEON X850 Platinum Edition.

Yeah we don't have a separate section for vid cards. People just post that kinds of questions in the general hardware & software.
But as long as you can run games with the card it really doesn't matter how good it is now does it?
But as I said it's a decent card, I wouldn't worry about upgrading just yet. (unless you need to have the highest graphics in every new game around)

I understand, next time I will try to remember that. As for the video card I do run BF2142 on the max settings and in the beginning before the patches I had problems but that is no longer the case.

Should run it fine, i have an X800 in my alienware and it runs perfect. (2 gigs of ram makes a big difference over 1 gig in that game)
