Is this to hot??

Just finished a build and the temp its running at is 77.4f is this too hot?? If that isnt to hot then what is

SPEC for new build:
AMD anthlon 3000+
512ram (256 on dual channel)
6600 256mb (NOT GT)
80gig 7200 SATA hd

Seems you're well within limits. Keep in mind that the temps on this site are in Celsius, not Fahrenheit. If you need a conversion:

F = 9/5 x C + 32
C = 5/9 x (F - 32)

Hmm so i will need a couple extra case fans becuase i have been getting just random freezings...anyone have a link to a good/quite fan?

EDIT> Constant freezing isn't necessarily caused by overheating. It could be cause by lots of things. Hardware incompatibilites are probably a bigger cause of freezing than overheating.

hmmm well if its not heat what eles could it be????? it runs great until i start to multitask (Not alot just runnning steam and winap and browsing net) any other clue to what i could be?

77F is not hot for a AMD.

List your system specs - there could be a hardware issue somewhere. Be sure to include brand names wherever possible.

Ok here it is:
AMD 64 3000+ Venice 939
Mobo: MSI K8N Neo4 series
ram: 512 (Dual channel 256) Cosain(Sp?) ram
HDD: Seagate 7200 80gig SATA
GPU: 6600 256mb
OS: windows home ed. with SP2

Well i figured it out it was a bad stick of ram, put a new one in and havent had a problem since.
