hooking up 2 hd's

i currently have a sata hd and i was wanting to intall my old hd on here, its not sata, its the other one, is this possible?

Your referring to IDE. And yes you can do that as long as you have a leftover IDE plug in.

I did just this yesterday using an IDE cable with three connectors. I made the HD the master and the DVD drive the slave. No problems with it in XP Pro.

yeah i got a extra one laying around and anyways my sata drive reads as a F drive lol but if i have windows xp and some programs will it still work
(sry for the first post it was real late like 5am and i hadda go to sleep otherwise i woulda gave more info =D)
