I use firefox browser Ver. 2.0.0.11 fully updated
also Opera (Current Ver.) and IE Ver.6.0.2800.1106 but use mostly firefox

I'm slower than the Slowski's with dial-up 56K
Peoplepc is my ISP

A Little backround:
I went to a C.E.T course in 1994. But didn't really keep up with the times.
I can hold my own usually on a computer, fixing hardware and some software problems.

With that all said;
I keep getting these unresponsive script errors on my main ISP page which uses IE and in Firefox when visiting Sports sites. Below is the sites visited and script errors I get.
This is a constant happening and makes my visits long and frustrating.
Does anyone have any answers?

1) It happens on the main page when I log on: here is one of the script errors.
sometimes I will have 5 of them right after each other and I noticed they are different each time.

IE script error
an error has occurred in the script on this page
Line: 410
Char:11
error:'document.getElementbyld(...)is null or not an object
code:0
URL:http://home.peoplepc.com/app/?
ver=6.330&mn=Laynechain45&token=IBFEIGPDONPEOEAAGD DKEDDHNGHGLKALKKAHBJGLPEOANHLFEJCEABKFMO&choosePho to=false&addEmailAddress=false&chooseContent=false &promoClicked=false

do you want to continue running scripts on this page

2) On sports sites: ESPN, Fox sports, Sportsline
On ESPN it only happens in the profile pages. Not the regular sports areas.
The profile area has a Blog and a wall to write on I guess like Facebook.

In Firefox:

Warning: Unresponsive Script
A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.
stop script continue

Oh! and it just happened for this site. The error message above.
@%$&€ many bad words

3) Also my Peoplepc main(Home) page. there is News headlines that I can click on etc...

When I click on a news article on the main Peoplepc page, IE browser opens
up to display page, the page is viewable (the article) then all of a sudden(When it finishes loading)
the page changes to
The web site address you entered could not be found. Please try the
related content suggestions and paid advertisements below, or try
another search.

now up until that point I can read the article, as I'm reading it it changes. I can click the back button and the page will load. Sometimes I have to do it a couple of times.

I greatly appreciate any advice and your time,
Thank You,
John
