Help pretty please with USB

Please don't laugh, i'm just a newbie, but... I recently formatted my computer so people would stop laughing at me but now I cant get my usb ports working. There was nothing on any disks to help me either. My motherboard is Soltek but I can't find anything on their site either. does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks a trillion in advance for helping out an idiot.

Install the usb drivers on the mbd cd.Read the manual.
Are you really sure ? Why did it work before then ?
Just for fun though,what does sysdm have to say
