Help with PCI graphic cards please.

my friend has a Dell dimension 2100
it doesn't have any AGP slots so therefore he needs a good PCI card.

was wondering what is the best PCI graphic card for gaming out there that's under 100.

also, is there any way that u could make a AGP card work in a PCI slot?

depends on what kind of gaming.....i mean if u're gonna play Unreal tournament 2004 with an sub-100 one... i dont think you'll like the results

you wont like the results from any pci graphics card no matter how powerful it is ,the pci slot is bottlenecked its too slow.

its like having onboard video.

Nah, PCI is not too good at all. PCI Express soudns very good but until then I doubt you'll find anything with the letters PCI in it which you'll be happy with.

You can have a TNT2 32MB graphics card for the PCI slot. I have tried it and it went pretty well.

A voodoo 3 works fine I use one all the time-most gamers are hardware snobs with an amd with 3dnow you get fine performance-my machine makes an xbox look very sickly. And yes you can use a pci card with onboard video but you should disable the onboard video from the bios. And don't touch anything else! -
