I let my sister use my laptop for "school work" and today I turned it on and I had a mirar toolbar in my internet explorer. I searched mirar and found out it's adware. I did a system scan with norton and there wern't any security threats. It doesnt appear in Add/Remove programs in control panel. The only way I could find to get rid of it was to run regedit and deleting the created registry keys. Is that the only way?? Does any one have any advice? Thanks.

I dont see why you cant find the "Mirar" folder. have you just done a system search, and then when IE isnt working, try to delete it?
