I'm a noob at this and this is my first time.
I have a hard drive from an old computer that I want to hook up as a slave drive to my new computer. This is all the information I have gathered.

Old HDD:

Model #: VAM51JJ0
Fireball 3
ATA/133 HDD
40GB
and from what the eBay auction says, its has an IDE interface.

So is there anything that I need to know? If not, what should I do now?

Thanks

Make it a slave with jumper settings (or cable select if you have a Dell and some other brands of computers) and plug it in and fire up the computer. It should detect it in Windows XP and no other setup will be needed.
