HDTV as monitor

Hey, I want to use a 23-24 inch(not decided yet) with a resolution of something around 1300X768. Will i be able to notice a difference between that resolution of the tv or a 24 inch MONITOR that has a higher resolution of something around 1900X1024....

Now also, I will use The DVI port on my 7800 and was wondering since its a tv, will I loose quality. I suppose not right?

A DVI connection, with a resolution of 1300X768, on a HDTV, will be nice.

nope turns out only vga will that make a big difference?

There is a noticeable different between DVI and VGA yes. DVI is alot clearer, sharper - all over, better.
