Default hdd question

I have a 250gb hdd in my computer. When I go to my Computer where it lists the hdd's and the devices under the hdd its show a C drive and a D drive. The C drive has a 127 gb capacity and the D drive has a 104 gb capacity. Is there anyway that I can combine these two drives to make one drive for a 231 gb total capacity in just one drive?

Laptop: Compaq Evo N610c; 1.8 ghz p4, 512 mb ram, 30 gb hdd, xp pro

Well, yea, you can do that. There's a program called Partition Magic that can handle that task.
